Hi, I'm Jo, so nice to meet you!

 

​ I am a specialist women’s pelvic health physiotherapist and specialist children’s physiotherapist and have worked in the NHS for 14 years. I am also a fully qualified yoga teacher with training in pregnancy, post natal and baby and me yoga.

 

From my clinic space at The Isle in Wedmore, Somerset I offer women's pelvic health physiotherapy consultations, children's physiotherapy assessments and 1:1 and small group yoga classes.

 

I treat women with pelvic floor dysfunction such as incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, & pelvic floor weakness through management strategies, individualised exercise programmes and other treatments.

I also treat and support women in their perinatal journey from trying to conceive through to pregnancy and the post natal period.  I focus on helping you get to the best possible place physically and mentally, and treat conditions such as PGP (pelvic girdle pain) and pelvic floor dysfunction. I am a registered Mummy MOT® practitioner which is a post natal check consisting of a pelvic floor, c-section, perineal scar and diastasis recti (tummy gap) assessment.

Yoga intertwines perfectly with pelvic health physiotherapy and is a fantastic way to support pelvic floor dysfunction. As a children’s physiotherapist I offer baby physical checks and see a wide variety of conditions such as developmental delay & neuromuscular conditions such as cerebral palsy for more information on what conditions I treat
